The cake from oil press section could also be used as raw material for solvent extraction, a chemical way to extract oil. It selects a kind of organic solvent to dissolve oil content in cake or vegetable seeds after close contact with feeding material (by dipping or spraying). And then oil is collected by vaporizing the solvent out which would be recycled later.
The solvent extraction plant is part of vegetable oil processing plant which is designed to extract oil directly from oilseed whose oil containing rate is less than 20%, such as soya bean after flaking or it extracts oils from pre-pressed or fully pressed cake of seeds with oil containing rate more than 20%, such as sunflower, peanuts, cottonseed, palm kernel, canola, copra, castor and variety of other materials.
In order to meet different clients’ requirements for different solvent extraction plants, we have established a large scope of solvent extraction equipment with capacity from 300kg to 100MT. The oil grade after refined can reach to Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 & Grade 4 Oil etc.
There’re two refining technologies in oil refinery plant, one is batch, the other is continuous. Normally we adopt batch type when the capacity is less than 20 MT/per day; otherwise, we adopt a semi-continuous or continuous technology.
The latest refining equipment consists of many single units and has the heating system itself which save energy without using a boiler. This equipment occupies less area and funds; furthermore, it has more functions and can be used to produce Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 & Grade 4 Oil etc. It’s ideal equipment for clients.
